- Provide competency-based education aligned with CHCP's curriculum model and system delivery standards.
- Design and deliver exceptional class instruction for both residential and blended learning formats, including the development of instructional plans and activities that meet course objectives.
- Facilitate the achievement of student competencies by fostering a learning environment that supports performance evaluation and skill development.
- Establish a classroom environment conducive to student engagement and success, effectively planning and preparing for instructional sessions.
- Deliver timely and comprehensive feedback to students, particularly at mid-term, to support their academic progress and provide opportunities for improvement.
- Promote student success through flexibility in teaching style and schedule, demonstrating a passion for education and active student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other academic reports, ensuring compliance with school policies and deadlines.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, departmental initiatives, and campus-wide projects, contributing to the institution's goals and objectives.
- Incorporate professional and industry experience into the curriculum, staying informed of trends and advancements in the pharmacy field.
- Engage with Program Advisory Committees to provide insights and feedback on curriculum content and delivery methods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the academic and operational needs of the institution.
- Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA.
- A minimum of 4 years of in-field experience as a pharmacy technician.
- At least 2 years of experience in hospital settings and sterile compounding, including ACPE IV/Sterile Compounding Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program; teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to student success and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
