Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing faculty and staff to foster a collaborative and effective teaching environment.
  • Oversee curriculum delivery and ensure alignment with program goals and student success outcomes.
  • Monitor NCLEX pass rates, retention, and program completion, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Nursing and accreditation standards to maintain program integrity.
  • Participate in curriculum development and drive initiatives for continuous program enhancement.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership to support program growth and organizational goals.
  • Provide student advising, mentorship, and academic support to empower students in their educational journey.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Prior teaching experience in a nursing program (ADN, VN, or BSN) strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in nursing education or a combination of teaching and leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and Texas Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage faculty and program initiatives.
