The Radiology Technology LMRT Assistant Program Director is a pivotal leadership role within the Fort Worth campus, designed to ensure the seamless execution of academic and operational processes within the Limited Medical Radiologic Technology (LMRT) program. This position demands a strategic mindset and a commitment to excellence in education delivery, compliance adherence, and faculty development. The Assistant Program Director collaborates closely with the Program Director and other key stakeholders to optimize program outcomes and maintain high standards of performance.

  • Orient and train instructional staff to deliver blended courses effectively, including online and face-to-face formats.
  • Implement and maintain the curriculum as directed by the Program Director, ensuring compliance with accrediting standards.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of instructional delivery and faculty performance.
  • Evaluate instructional staff and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Monitor student attendance, grades, and intervention programs to ensure academic success.
  • Collect and analyze evaluation data to identify trends and prepare performance reports for review.
  • Assist in class scheduling and preparation for advisory board meetings.
  • Support faculty adherence to TWC, federal, and accrediting standards, ensuring compliance documentation is maintained.
  • Review instructor lesson plans and ensure alignment with course objectives.
  • Collaborate in the recruitment, development, and selection of qualified faculty for blended courses.
  • Conduct new student orientation and assist in community outreach initiatives.
  • Review completion and placement rates with key stakeholders to optimize program outcomes.
  • Assist in scheduling in-service training and maintaining employee and student records.
  • Work closely with the externship coordinator to oversee site development and student progress.
  • Cover classes as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Director of Education.

  • Current license as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical work experience, teaching experience, or a combination of both in the field of Radiology.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as data entry skills.
