Are you an experienced OB/GYN or Women’s Health nurse looking to transition into teaching?

We are seeking a Vocational Nurse Faculty member to support our nursing program, with a focus on maternal-child / OB-GYN content. This is a great opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and shaping the next generation of nurses—no prior teaching experience required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging instruction in OB/GYN and maternal-child nursing concepts
  • Support students in developing clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to help students succeed in the program
  • Assist with skills labs, clinical preparation, and student evaluation
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of Texas
  • BSN or higher from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, Women’s Health, or related area
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and student development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
