- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in classroom and laboratory settings, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Develop and maintain lesson plans, instructional materials, and equipment to support student learning objectives.
- Monitor and record student attendance, assess performance, and submit timely and accurate reports.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom and lab environments to facilitate effective learning experiences.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and accreditation standards.
- Participate actively in faculty development programs, departmental meetings, and other assigned institutional responsibilities.
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license, demonstrating professional credentials and expertise.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program with a minimum of 900 contact hours, ensuring a solid educational foundation.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in dental assisting, providing practical industry knowledge.
- Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory, with a willingness to develop instructional skills.
- Degree or post-secondary education as required by state and accreditation standards.
