Overview
CHCP is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Instructor to deliver high-quality, competency-based instruction in residential and blended learning environments. This role supports student success, promotes engagement, and prepares graduates for today’s healthcare workforce.
Responsibilities
Deliver competency-based instruction aligned with CHCP curriculum standards
Teach in residential and blended formats
Prepare lesson plans and learning activities
Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback
Support student engagement and success
Maintain attendance, grades, and academic records
Enforce academic and attendance policies
Attend faculty and department meetings
Participate in campus initiatives and committees
Integrate current industry knowledge into instruction
Stay current with pharmacy and healthcare trends
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration or
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)Minimum 4 years of pharmacy experience
2+ years hospital and sterile compounding experience
ACPE IV/Sterile Compounding Certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
Teaching or training experience (preferred, not required)
