  • Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction in alignment with established course objectives and institutional standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage instructional equipment, materials, and learning spaces to ensure an optimal educational experience.
  • Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and submit grades in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and learning outcomes.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and academic guidance to support student success and retention.
  • Participate actively in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives to enhance instructional effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional learning environment conducive to education and skill-building.
  • Promptly report any incidents, concerns, or issues to the appropriate department or authority.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the institution's mission and educational objectives.

  • Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
  • Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in the dental field or prior instructional experience, preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to fostering student success.
  • Ability to adhere to institutional policies and maintain compliance with accreditation requirements.
