The Sonography OBGYN and Abdomen Instructor plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals by delivering high-quality, competency-based education.   • Deliver competency-based education aligned with CHCP's curriculum model and instructional delivery standards.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans that meet course objectives and foster student achievement.
  • Evaluate student performance through established criteria and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
  • Create and maintain a learning-centered classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Provide weekly feedback to students, with a focus on mid-term evaluations and strategies for improvement.
  • Adapt teaching methods and schedules to meet diverse student needs while demonstrating a passion for education.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records, including attendance and grades, in adherence to academic policies.
  • Participate actively in faculty meetings, departmental initiatives, and campus-wide activities.
  • Engage in at least one special project committee annually to support institutional goals.
  • Incorporate real-world professional experiences into the classroom through ongoing professional development and industry awareness.

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
  • RDMS certification in ABD and OB/GYN is required.
  • Appropriate credentials specific to the concentrations offered.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time professional experience as a general Sonographer, cardiac Sonographer, pediatric cardiac Sonographer, or vascular technologist (defined as 35 hours per week).
