We are seeking a Director of Nursing Education to lead our ADN and VN programs. This role is ideal for experienced nursing instructors, lead faculty, or assistant program directors who are looking to grow into an academic leadership position while continuing to make a meaningful impact on student success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support nursing faculty and staff
Oversee curriculum delivery, student outcomes, and program effectiveness
Monitor and support NCLEX pass rates, retention, and completion
Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Nursing and accreditation standards
Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement
Collaborate with campus leadership on program growth and initiatives
Provide student advising, mentorship, and academic support
Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of Texas
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required
Prior teaching experience in a nursing program (ADN, VN, or BSN) strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in nursing education or a combination of teaching and leadership
Knowledge of accreditation standards and Board of Nursing requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
