Position Summary
The Simulation Manager (RN) is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the nursing simulation lab. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, hands-on learning experiences by supporting simulation-based education aligned with curriculum objectives, accreditation standards, and patient safety best practices. The Simulation Manager works closely with nursing faculty to create realistic clinical scenarios that enhance student learning and preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the nursing simulation lab, including scheduling, setup, and coordination
Collaborate with faculty to design, implement, and support simulation scenarios across nursing programs
Ensure simulation activities align with program curriculum and learning outcomes
Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot simulation equipment and related technology
Manage simulation supplies, documentation, and reporting requirements
Support compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, including ACEN, CCNE, and the Texas Board of Nursing
Promote a safe, organized, and effective simulation learning environment
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Active, unencumbered Texas RN license required
Experience in nursing education, clinical training, or simulation preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
