The College of Health Care Professions is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Assistant Instructor to join our esteemed faculty. As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will leverage your expertise to deliver high-quality instruction and mentorship, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet the demands of the healthcare industry.

- Deliver comprehensive instruction in medical assisting through both hands-on and classroom-based teaching methodologies.
- Mentor and guide students to develop their technical skills, professionalism, and confidence in the healthcare field.
- Integrate real-world medical assisting experiences into the curriculum to enhance practical learning.
- Foster an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment that supports student success.

- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with institutional policies.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on experience in the medical assisting field.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
- CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with institutional and accreditation standards.
