The Simulation Manager (RN) – Nursing Education is a pivotal role within the CHCP Houston Northwest campus, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing simulation lab. This position is integral to fostering high-quality, simulation-based learning experiences that align with curriculum objectives, accreditation standards, and patient safety principles. The Simulation Manager collaborates closely with nursing faculty to design and deliver realistic clinical scenarios that enhance student preparedness and competency.

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing simulation lab, including scheduling, setup, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage simulation experiences across various nursing programs to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives.
  • Collaborate with faculty to design, develop, and implement realistic and effective simulation scenarios.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot simulation equipment and technology to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (ACEN, CCNE, BON) and support documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Manage simulation lab supplies, inventory, and related administrative tasks to support operational efficiency.

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a higher degree is preferred.
  • Active, unencumbered Texas RN license is mandatory.
  • Experience in nursing education, clinical training, or simulation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with simulation technology.
