The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an experienced and student-focused Director of Career Services to lead our Career Services department.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Career Services, Student Success, Workforce Development, or Employer Relations within a college, university, or career school. You'll play a key role in preparing students and graduates for successful employment while developing partnerships with healthcare employers throughout the community.

Responsibilities
Lead the Career Services department and provide guidance to Career Services staff.
Coach students and graduates on resume writing, interviewing, networking, and job search strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other healthcare employers.
Develop employment opportunities for students and graduates.
Collaborate with Education, Externship, Admissions, and Campus Leadership to support student success.
Monitor graduate placement outcomes and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
Ensure compliance with institutional, accreditation, state, and federal placement standards.
Analyze employment trends and recommend strategies to improve graduate placement rates.
Represent CHCP at employer events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Three or more years of experience in Career Services, Student Services, Employer Relations, Workforce Development, or Career Placement within a college, university, or career education environment.
Experience coaching students or graduates on career readiness and employment.
Experience developing employer partnerships and networking with local businesses.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred
Supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience with healthcare education or allied health programs.
Knowledge of accreditation standards related to graduate employment and career services.
