- Prepare, maintain, and manage instructional equipment, materials, and learning spaces to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and submit grades promptly in accordance with institutional policies.
- Follow detailed lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and learning outcomes effectively.
- Provide individualized tutoring and academic guidance to support student success and retention.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and training activities to stay current with industry and instructional best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- Report any incidents, concerns, or compliance issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standards in all aspects of instruction and program delivery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the program's operational and academic objectives.
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
- Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in the dental field or instructional experience, with a preference for candidates demonstrating both.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to fostering student success and academic excellence.
- Ability to create a structured, compliant, and engaging learning environment that aligns with institutional and accreditation standards.
