As a Dental Assistant Instructor, you will:

- Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction that aligns with established course objectives and institutional standards.
- Prepare and maintain instructional materials, equipment, and learning spaces to support effective teaching practices.
- Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and ensure timely submission of grades and evaluations.
- Adhere to lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and maintain curriculum consistency.
- Provide individualized tutoring and guidance to support student learning and academic success.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and professional learning environment that complies with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Promptly report any incidents, concerns, or issues to the appropriate administrative personnel.
- Maintain compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and accreditation requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the educational program.
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
- Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in the dental field or instructional experience preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student success.
