  • Deliver instruction that aligns with CHCP curricula and course competencies to ensure student success.
  • Develop and execute lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments that promote active learning and skill development.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, fostering their academic growth and professional readiness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, grades, and student performance metrics.
  • Integrate professional and industry-specific experiences into teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of trends and advancements in the field of diagnostic medical sonography to ensure curriculum relevance.
  • Participate actively in faculty meetings, campus service initiatives, and professional development opportunities.

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree with appropriate credentials in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • At least 3 years of full-time professional experience as a general, cardiac, pediatric, or vascular Sonographer; ARDMS (Abdomen, OB/Gyn) and RVT credentials preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, and evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Comfortable utilizing technology to enhance the learning experience in the classroom.
